Tracking

Which trackers are supported?

AniList, MyAnimeList, Kitsu and MangaUpdates. See Trackers.

Do I have to give Matane my password?

AniList and MyAnimeList use your browser's login; Matane never sees the password. Kitsu and MangaUpdates ask for your username and password once; the password goes only to that service and is not kept.

Why does a tracker say "this build has no app registration"?

That build cannot log in to that tracker yet. See For people who build Matane.

Is anything sent in incognito?

No: nothing is sent while incognito is on, though chapters can still be brought in from the tracker.

Why is my tracker behind?

Updates are queued and retried if you are offline or the service is down. Settings, Tracking shows how many wait; Send now tries at once.

Can I stop marking chapters read from the tracker?

Yes, for one tracker (Settings, Tracking) or for one manga (its Tracking dialog). Reading is still sent.
