How do I add a manga to my library?

Open it from Browse and choose Add to library. See Getting started.

What happens to my progress if I remove a manga?

Its progress and history stay in the app's data; you can add it again later. Only the library entry is removed.

How do I sort or filter the library?

Use the controls above the library: filter by unread, started, downloaded, bookmarked, status or source, and sort by title, last read, latest chapter, date added, unread count or total chapters. See Library.

Can a manga be in more than one category?

Yes, or in none. See Categories.

Why is a chapter I read marked "Removed from source"?

The source stopped listing it. Matane keeps chapters you read, bookmarked or downloaded.

What does the number on a cover mean?

How many chapters you have not read.

How do I move a manga to another source?

How do I use my own cover?

Right-click a page in the reader and choose Set as cover.

Is my library saved if I uninstall the app?

Yes: uninstalling keeps your data. Make a backup before moving to another computer.
