Which reading modes are there?

Single, double, webtoon, vertical and Auto. See Reader.

How do I change the reading direction or mode for one manga?

Use the reader menu (the gear in the reader): it changes the mode, direction and fit for the manga you are reading. Settings, Reader sets the defaults.

Can I change the keys?

Yes: Settings, Reader, Keyboard shortcuts (how).

Images load slowly or the strip jumps

Turn on Split tall pages, lower Preload pages on a slow connection, and give the page cache more space in Settings, Data & storage.

Can I read at night without hurting my eyes?

Yes: the warm tint, brightness, grayscale and invert filters, and a custom background colour (Display). They can be set per manga.

Why are white or black borders cut off?

Crop borders trims plain margins off pages. Turn it off in the reader menu; your downloads are not changed.

Does the reader work with a touch screen?

Yes: swipe to turn pages, pinch to zoom and tap as with the mouse.

How do I save or copy a page?

Right-click a page: Save image…, Copy image or Set as cover.
